Since Hurricane Matthew is still so fresh in our minds here in Florida (and on the entire southeast coast), I thought I would off offer my novel, Splashdown, that begins with a hurricane for FREE on Kindle this weekend.
It also deals with homelessness and human trafficking–two areas I have been involved with and wanted to explore. The romance between Lynn and Rich draws it all together, as well as John and Sharee’s juggling in their “newlywed” lives. Wrapping it up is Cooper, the dog, and that helps keep some serious subjects from dragging us down. Free today. I hope you enjoy it!
Splashdown, Book 3 in THE DANGEROUS SERIES, but can stand alone. http://amzn.to/1XIEP5t Christian Romantic Suspense.
Lynn Stapleton likes designer handbags and high-end clothing, so how did Sharee Jergenson talk her into visiting a homeless site, much less starting a friendship with one of its residents?
When Hurricane Bella hits Florida, Lynn finds herself involved in the friend’s murder. Detective Rich Richards thinks Lynn’s connection with the woman is suspicious—and she’s a disruption to the case and his life as a nominal Christian. He’d do better to stay away from the tall, willowy blonde, but he can’t—because she and friend, Sharee, have unearthed evidence that will convict someone of murder, and that person has marked both women for death. http://amzn.to/1XIEP5t
On reviewer: SplashDown took my breath away as the action unfolded… The book brings to light social issues facing us today and brings the reader closer to understanding the issues from the inside out. This book is filled, as always, with spiritual insight and struggles from the beginning to end. I have read all the previous books in this series and find myself looking forward to Linda’s next book.
